Breaking The Glass Ceiling – How To Connect To A Larger Audience

Social media platforms are giving businesses more ways than ever before to connect with their audiences on an intimate and emotional level. With the right social media accounts, you can reach out to a wide range of target customers, answer their questions, earn their trust, and even ensure that they’re more likely to purchase from you as long-lasting and loyal consumers.

But what do you have to do if you want to make your target audience larger than ever? The answer is simple – it’s all about actively seeking out people who will benefit from your message, product, or service, and speaking to them in their own language.

  1. Be Active

The first step in earning a larger audience is to be as active as possible. The more active and engaged you are with your existing audience, and the more you connect with them on an emotional level, the more likely they are to share your message with other like-minded people, increasing your chances of reaching new customers who have a good chance of buying your products or using your services.

  1. Be Accessible

If you want to connect with a large audience, then you need to avoid using inside jokes and subtlety that could leave certain people feeling left out. As important as it is to have your own unique personality on social media, remember that it’s also essential to make your audience members feel welcome – so try to stay away from jargon or controversial terms whenever possible.

  1. Be Emotional

Emotions create a huge influence on a gigantic scale. If you post a video that makes people cry, laugh, or smile, then they’re far more likely to share that experience with other people, than a video that has no impression whatsoever. Don’t be afraid to touch on people’s emotions, and get involved on a deeper level.

  1. Be Patient

Finally, remember that successfully connecting with a larger audience is going to take more time than attempting to have a conversation with just a handful of people. It takes longer for the sound of your voice, and the meaning of your message to get across to a larger crowd, so don’t expect your following to triple within the day. Give it time, be patient, and be ready for a change.

We’ve been working with Sophie Zollmann for almost half a year now, building an online lifelong learning platform and community from the ground up (because in-person classes became impossible in light of the corona virus). Sophie has guided every technical aspect of this enterprise including the construction of landing-pages and websites, the management of mailing lists and revenue funnels, setting up Zoom meetings, etc., allowing us to focus exclusively on content production and marketing. This platform is now off the ground and succeeding beyond our wildest hopes.

We couldn’t have built it without Sophie’s support, which has always been prompt and timely, and her guidance, as she’s always pointed us to the most efficient and economical solutions to whatever technical issue we’ve faced. In the heat of the moment, I’m sure we’ve not always been easy to work with, but Sophie has also been generous and understanding to a fault. In sum, her support has been flawless and absolutely essential to the success of our online enterprise. We will be relying on her services again as we ramp up for our next phase of growth.
