Let’s talk about the 5 questions you should ask yourself BEFORE you scale:

1. What are your priorities?
   
   There are no wrong answers! This is your business, and you get to decide what matters most. Maybe it’s more money, maybe it’s more time, or a greater sense of fulfillment. Maybe you’re focused on creating a legacy business that continues long after you retire. Prioritize what matters most to you because that will help shape your scaling plan.
   
   
2. Where do you want to go?
   
   Where do you want your business to be in six months? A year? Five years? When you’re putting together a growth plan, you’re thinking about tomorrow AND years down the road, so you need a combination of long and short-term goals. You know what you’re working towards, and you have measurable milestones along the way to keep you on the path to your bright, beautiful future!
   
   
3. How will you measure your success?
   
   Those milestones I mentioned? They’re SUPER important. Sustainable growth has to be strategic and good strategies have to be measurable. Set your metrics. Choose your KPIs. Have those tools in place so that you can track your progress and ensure that you are steadily working towards the goals you’ve set for your business and your life.
   
   
4. What do YOU want?
   
   You’ve set short and long-term goals for your business, but now it’s time to think about YOURSELF. Where do you want to be in a few months? What about 10 years from now? Your business funds your life, so it’s important to think about your personal goals as you’re creating a plan to scale. If your dream is to retire to an amazing beach house in Florida, you want to make sure your business is set up to make that possible. Dream big and listen to your heart because it will guide you to what you truly want.
   
   
5. How will you get there?
   
   You know where you want your business to go. You’ve visualized the dream life you’re building. Now it’s time to start planning the steps that will actually GET you there. So, what do you need to transform your dreams into reality? Is it a bigger team? Better tech? Stronger marketing strategies? This is the foundation on which you’re going to build your growth, so it’s really important to have these cornerstones in place BEFORE you try to scale.

Scaling your business doesn’t have to be overwhelming. With the right plan in place and a strong, reliable team backing you up, you can take your business to new heights without working yourself to death in the process!
